THE CHALLENGE
Restaurant and bar revenues are a key part of Swire Hotel's business. But when Beijing trends changed, they wanted to update their atmosphere and reintegrate their disbursed pizza, martini and beer venues into a cohesive Xian Bar brand that would attract customers and promote their menu offerings in an entertaining and eye-catching way. Their adorable and personable happy Buddha logo offered a perfect opportunity.
HOW WE MADE IT REAL
The Novaby team worked closely with the hotel and bar staff to understand their goals and translate those into motion graphic animations that would capture their guests' attention. A series of 8 animations were developed to highlight the Xian Bar entertainment and menu offerings. Each night, the Buddha now springs to life play, dance and eat in time with the band on a 16 ft wide by 8 ft high screen creating a unique draw that surprises and delights their customers.
